Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000 per month in Year 1 (Rs. 21,000 in-hand after deduction), increasing to Rs. 40,000 in Year 4.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of given below stages:

Stage 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

- Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms
- Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Corneal Surgery (PRK / LASIK) is not acceptable. Visual requirements as applicable as per Indian Air Force standards.
- Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Final Merit: Based on marks and fitness.

For Science Subjects:
English, Physics, Mathematics (10+2 level) – 70 marks, 60 min
For Other than Science:
English, Reasoning & General Awareness – 50 marks, 45 min
For Both:
English, Physics, Mathematics, Reasoning & General Awareness – 100 marks, 85 min
Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for wrong answers.
