Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

You need to have passed ITI in the related trade from a recognized place. It must be full-time or regular course.

Age Limit (as on 18/03/2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years

Age relaxations:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC NCL): 13 years

Stipend and Benefits

  • Stipend: Rs. 9,600 per month
  • Duration: 1 year

This is training, so no full job benefits. But you get hands-on experience in nuclear power work.

Selection Process

No exam. Selection is based on:

  • Percentage of marks in your ITI trade.
  • Shortlist made from online applications.
  • Document verification.
  • Medical fitness check.

If marks are same:

  • Older candidate (by date of birth) gets preference.
  • If DOB same, higher marks in 10th/8th (8th for Welder) class.

Local candidates within 16 km of Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site get preference.

Physical Standards

You need to be physically fit as per Apprentices Act rules. Minimum standards:

  • Height: 137 cm and above
  • Weight: 25.4 kg and above
  • Chest Expansion: Not less than 3.8 cm (no matter chest size)

  • No contagious diseases, no TB, nothing that gets worse with work.

You must give a medical fitness certificate from a government doctor at document check. It must meet these rules.
