DVC Overman Vacancy 2026
DVC has announced a total of 9 Overman vacancies under Notice No. PLR/Contractual/01/2026/07 dated 03/09/2026. Category-wise vacancy distribution are tabulated below:,

DVC Overman Salary 2026
Candidates selected for Overman (Contractual Basis) post will receive a monthly consolidated pay of ₹45,000/-.
Period of Engagement: The appointment initially will be for 05 (Five) years which may be extended for another 02(two) years. The performance will be reviewed annually. The extension will however be considered after evaluation of performance every year.
DVC Overman Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfill the education qualification, age & work experience criteria as per the official notification.
Qualifying Requirement & Experience Criteria
Educational Qualification and Eligibility Condition: Candidate should have passed Diploma in Mining Engineering from recognized institute of repute with valid Overman’s certificate of competency issued by DGMS for Coal under CMR 2017/CMR 1957. Also have valid First Aid Certificate from any institute/ organisation recognized by DGMS.
Experience Criteria: Minimum Three years of post-qualification working experience in open cast coal mines as overman.
Age Limit
Candidates should have maximum age with relaxation for all categories shall not exceed 55 years as on closing date of online application.
DVC Overman Selection Process 2026
Selection Process for DVC overman contractual post held through Interview/ Skill Test. However, DVC Management reserves the right to conduct additional screening test/ trade test etc. as deemed fit.
